Prof. Dimbeswar chaliha,a retired lecturer of Monohari College, Dibrugarh University, is my grand father. A person full of talent and attractive personality with caring nature is his full description. A proud father of 3 child whose are self established in their own field. Simple living and high thinking is his aim of life. He is basically from my hometown Golaghat and studied in Banaras after completing his school education in Golaghat and Gawahati. We are really proud of him.

Passed out in the year 1999. I had great times in this school, many memorable moments left behind. still remember the class-in-action in JUBILI HALL, John canteen, the two playgrounds, sports week, the huge auditorium, the basketball court, the two merry-go-rounds, see-saw...remember the moral science classes till class 10, games period, watching Tom & Jerry, Laurel & Hardy in JUBILI HALL, the moneky in the hostel campus ... Feel proud to have passed my childhood years in this school. DBS is the temple where i took shelter & gained knowledge to become a better human being in the society.
